In recent years, Lodz, Poland has become an important place for street art, with artists coming from all over the world to present their work.
The city of Lodz is known for its industrial heritage and iconic textile industry, but also in recent years for its street art, which is ubiquitous in the city.
The art scene in Lodz has been developing since the late 1980s, when graffiti started to appear all over the city. After that, more and more artists from different
countries and backgrounds came to the city to express their unique styles and perspectives. The city has also hosted a number of festivals and events focused on street art,
such as the Street Art Festival, which celebrates the work of local and international artists. Lodz's street art is incredibly diverse, ranging from small graffiti pieces

such as the mural The Polish Manifesto, which pays tribute to the textile industry, and the mural The Jewish Slum, which pays tribute to the Jews living in Lodz during World War II.

The Light Move Festival brings together no less than 650,000 people over the course of a weekend. Building illuminations, light installations and projections,
3D-mapping, laser shows and more. Everything that is most spectacular in the field, come to dazzle the tourists in a city plunged into darkness.
