Trip in Wrocław

I'm going to tell you through this article about my trip that I made in Budapest from April 6th to April 11th. To put you in the context, I went to Budapest with 3 friends of mine (Malcom, Enric and Arthur) and I planned my trip with the help of Malcom. I preferred not to organize anything and let Malcom make me discover his city.

I left in this adventure with Titouan by bus. We left at 02 : 00 in the morning and we had 11 hours of travel before arriving in Budapest. We crossed Poland but also Slovakia. I think I don't have to specify that this trip was a hell for me who can't sleep in the transports.

We arrived at 1pm at the Budapest train station where Malcom was waiting for us to guide us to his apartment. Titouan went with his friends to a youth hostel while I slept in the apartment of Enric, Malcom and Arthur. We started by walking around the city and visiting the streets of Budapest which are beautiful. We spent some time walking around and we stopped with Malcom and Sybille in front of the parliament of Budapest which is as gigantic as it is beautiful. We then went to a typical Budapest café to relax and chat.

In the evening, we were joined by many people from ESAIP because it was the vacation weekend for most of the students. We went to a disco, in a typical Budapest disco which is "L'instant". The next day we visited the Basilica which was free to visit for Easter. We then visited the Fishermen's Bastion which gives us a magnificent view of Budapest. We went again to a disco to finish the evening.

The next day, we visited the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts with the Heroes' Square next to it, both of which were beautiful. We then went for a walk in a park to finally relax and enjoy the nice weather. After that, we went to see a Vasarely exhibition which was incredible. We had to say goodbye to most of the ESAIP students because they were all leaving on Sunday except me and Titouan.

Finally, we left with Titouan on Monday by bus and we still had 11 hours of bus for the return. To conclude, I would say that Budapest is a wonderful city and I can't wait to come back to this country and especially this city.
