Musculation's Dietetics

Hello everyone,
Today I'm going to explain to you one of the best parts of Erasmus in my opinion: Food. When you are a student in France, you may always sleep with your parents and you cannot choose the food or the quantities. But when you are on Erasmus you have to control the food you eat otherwise you will starve.

So if you go to the gym, you'll probably calculate the number of calories you consume each day. In addition to this, you will also calculate proteins and carbohydrates.

In this article I will show you how to easily calculate your necessary intake in terms of proteins, carbohydrates, starches and vegetables. Then I will explain a recipe to you to avoid always eating the same thing at each meal.

Some people will advise you to calculate your calories per day according to your training program but for beginners this can be scary and even me after 1 year and a half of training I still do not calculate my quantities. But I use some tricks: for meat (if you eat it) you multiply your body weight by 2, which is the weight of white meat to eat or by 1.5 if it is red meat. For vegetables, it is at will and starchy foods in the same quantity as the meat.

I can show you a recipe I made: half a sweet potato, 2 eggs and 100g of beef. You set your oven to 200°C, in a pan you put 10g of salted butter and a little paprika. Then you crack the eggs into the pan and mix. When the eggs are cooked, you put the sweet potato that you have cut in the middle in the oven, after having oiled it with herbs.

Then you put the meat in the pan, add salt, pepper and the spice of your choice. When the meat is cooked, you put the eggs back in the pan and lower the heat to a minimum. And you wait for the yam, to see when it's done you'll see the square on it. And then, good meal. This is a good recipe because you can work while cooking the sweet potato. But you need another recipe if you don't have time. You can put rice to cook simply and your meat to cook, when the meat is cooked you put the rice in the pan with a box of red beans so that the rice finishes cooking with the spices of the meat and the beans. When the rice is cooked, it's ready you can eat. Picture of the end of recipe

I hope my tips have helped you. bye
